What to do with the demo

Play in Loftia City. That district includes the main questline and your first taste of life there.

Proficiencies stop at level 5 in this build. Early Access extends farming, crafting, cooking, and fishing past that cap.

Progress and the character name can carry into Early Access. The name-release window runs from November 3, 2026 to February 3, 2027.

• Invite rewards listed for the demo are the Demo Banner, the Pebble Chair for one invite, and the Pebble Couch for two invites.
• The demo is the free Steam Next Fest build, and it is not the November Early Access release. On Steam, Loftia is app 2320980.
• Hanging Gardens and Gridfall are Early Access districts. They are not part of the demo. Pets also wait for Early Access, where you can adopt, care for, dress, and befriend them.
• Controller, keyboard and mouse, and Steam Deck all work. The demo itself is the Loftia City slice, with proficiencies capped at level 5.
• If you are deciding whether to install it this week, the useful checks are the date window, the carryover rule, the three invite rewards, and the level cap. Price and PC requirements come with the Early Access release.
• Main quest names include A Fresh Start. The main questline is in Loftia City, and those names do not include step-by-step objectives.

• Keep the character name if you want it in Early Access. The release window for that name runs to February 3, 2027.
• Invite rewards stop at three listed items: Demo Banner, Pebble Chair, and Pebble Couch.
• Do not look for pets in this build. Pets arrive with Early Access, where you can adopt, care for, dress, and befriend them.
• Do not travel to Hanging Gardens or Gridfall in this build. Both are named for Early Access.
• Controller, keyboard and mouse, and Steam Deck work in the game. They do not add Hanging Gardens or Gridfall to this build.
• When the date window closes on October 26, 2026, this slice is no longer the current public build.
